Lobster Ball Machine
A Lobster Ball Machine is available for exclusive use by Pickleball Club members
who may use it according to the the following procedures:

The machine is only available for Club members’ use

Members MUST first be trained in use of the Lobster machine and satisfactorily demonstrate proficiency with use of it including:

removing it from the cabinet
-
set up
-
setting adjustment
-
returning to cabinet
-
connecting battery charger
-

Members demonstrating proficiency will get a laminated Lobster Card
-
Key to the Lobster cabinet will be kept at the Golf Pro Shop where a log of checkout will be maintained

To obtain the key, members must show their Lobster Card and leave their LW ID card
-
When key is returned, member's LW ID Card will be returned
-
If Golf Shop closed before key is returned, member will return the key by 8:00 am the next morning

Use of the machine is limited to 45 minutes per session

Training and Certification will be conducted the first Tuesday of the month at 4 pm - just turn up at the outdoor courts.

Wednesday Assessment Rating (WAR) with Coach Allan

Coach Allan Galera, LW Pickleball pro player/instructor, is offering a 15-minute free assessment rating for any player who would like to know their Pickleball Player Rating based on the USAPA guidelines. Book a FREE Pickleball Wednesday Assessment Rating (WAR) on the second Wednesday of each month (maximum 6 students) via text or email to Coach Allan 714-552-2119 or ocpickleballcoach@gmail.com.​
Immediately following the WAR, Coach Allan will also hold a (privately paid) Pickleball Clinic (maximum 6 students) with practice drills and fun games. This clinic and other private lessons offered by Coach Allan incur a charge. See the bulletin board for details.
